KIDS at the PARK DAY – 2026

What is Kids at the Parks Day? Kids at the Parks Day is a National Day of outdoor play celebrated in cities and towns nationwide held annually. In honor of this proclamation, the East Alton Village is hosting its annual “Kids to Lion’s Park Day” in East Alton.

The event will be held Saturday, May 16th at Lion’s Park (615 Third Street – directly behind the Keasler Complex) from 10:30 a.m. – No later than 1:00 p.m.

This is a FREE EVENT for the community and families of East Alton and East Alton School District #13.

Activities for the Day:
– Kickball
– Misc. games & activities
– Playground fun
– Hot dogs, chips, & drinks!

Please call the East Alton Park & Recreation Department at (618) 259-7411 to let us know how many in your party will be attending! This is to make sure we have food for everyone. You may also bring your own lawn chairs for comfort. Let’s have FUN!!!
