2024 Tri-City Baseball/Softball
The East Alton Recreation Department baseball/softball program is designed to provide the participants a full summer of fun and recreation for girls and boys ages 4 to 16 years of age. This begins with coach selection, facility care, quality equipment, and experienced staffing/umpires holding the integrity of the game. The participants are placed on teams and all home games are played at Van Preter Park. All participants will receive a league t-shirt and will be placed in their appropriate division as of their age on September 1st of the current year.

12 games guaranteed.
Games played in evenings and some Saturdays.
No Refunds
Divisions:
• Instructional T-Ball – for boys and girls ages 4 & 5. An instructional league that will focus on teaching the basic skills and fundamentals of baseball/softball. No Standings
• Coach Pitch – For boys and girls ages 6 & 7. An instructional league for children who are ready to move up from the T-Ball league. No Standings.
• Boys Baseball League – Rookie (Pitch Machine ages 8 & 9), Minor (Ages 10 & 11), Major (Ages 12 & 13), Juvenile (Ages 14, 15, & 16)
• Girls Softball League – Ponytail (Pitch Machine ages 8 & 9), Petite (Ages 10, 11, & 12), Chic (Ages 13, 14, & 15)
Notes:
• Due to SAFETY & HEALTH issues, we require all participants (boys & girls; ages 6 years & up) to have their own batting helmet. Girls in leagues “Ponytail” & up will need face guards on batting helmets.
• All participants are placed in the appropriate league based on their age as of September 1, 2024***
Deadlines:
• Early-bird ($40 + $2.53 fees): On or before 1/31/2024
• Regular ($50 + $2.83 fees): 2/1/2024 – 3/31/2024
• Late ($60 + $3.13 fees): On or after 4/1/2024
